Sean, Thank U King👑👑 unfortunately I can't blame hfcs, I read labels (drives most ppl crazy if they have to go grocery shopping with me- cuz even if I've used a product for a while & "know I can trust it" I still randomly read the ingredients- cuz companies succumb to the greed factor, forget why they started making quality products in the 1st place & start mixing in all kinds of garbage), I stay away from long ingredients lists, hfcs, "food" dyes (carcinogenic chemicals), any word followed by a bunch of letters or numbers (i.e. tetrasodium EDTA), & anything I know is random chemicals unfit for human consumption. This is across the board for me, in other words hygiene products, cleaning supplies, even my clothing (I want to see: 100% cotton, leather, etc- I don't want anything plastic made to look like cloth resting on my skin). No I'm not "high maintenance" I'm conscious and I'm worth more than "following trends." That's exactly why I got pissed off with myself, I know better but I didn't Do Better. I know processed sugar destroys internal organs because they bleach it with embalming fluid to get that "pristine white" crystal. I know that grains especially wheat, corn, & soy are detrimental to human health as they have been decimated by chemical companies with "built into the seed, herbicides & pesticides." And I str8 up ignored all the knowledge I have, for feeding my Ego the garbage it wanted.
It's funny, I won't eat fast food, I stay away from most preprocessed food stuffs, I won't touch conventional dairy, eggs, or meat (all idustrialized products which are harmful to ur health- anytime something is mass produced, it's fucked from jump). I only use castile or goats milk soaps. I use pure cold pressed coconut oil for everything: sunscreen, hair conditioner, skin oil, oral care. I use Aloe (str8 out the leaf) for skin treatment (bug bites, burns, wound healing/cleansing). I've been utilizing Intermittent Fasting, KETO, & even Paleo on & off over the past several years. I don't even have Tylenol or Ibuprofen ever for the last 5 years. And still with ALL that I allowed myself to overindulge in garbage, and it literally started with pastel de guayaba con queso the minute I got back to south FL cuz I hadn't had them in forever- CT it's difficult to find in the last 10 years or so.

I learned so much reading this, Reina. I’m sure you can reverse this with the things you suggested. It’s incredible how medics won’t recommend dietary changes but only drugs to treat this. That's the exact problem is, people in the "Medical" field are just that- they practice "Medicine" (eh-hem Drugs), most of them no longer practice Healthcare & haven't in a few generations already. They hand out whatever new drug gets them the biggest bonus check without any thoughts given to the human in front of them. I've watched this format take over, from both sides of it- working in the field as well as being a patient. Modern day medical personnel mostly look for &/or create repeat customers- if U are healthy they don't make money off of U, which is why most will not actually speak the truth of, "If U want to be healthy, U have to Stop doing the shit that got U unhealthy, period." There is No magic pill to instantly fix what I have fucked up over the course of years of bad choices. It's just that simple but our society lives in the Ego for the most part & always wants instant gratification- that's Not how life works.

I agree with the lack of health care. It would be more effective if medics could say eat less crap, move more and quit smoking/alcohol. But they won’t. My mum died of sclerosis and only one doctor ever challenged her drinking.

As far as herbs go, I would look into gymnema sylvestre for pancreatic support, maybe consider some good digestive enzymes and maybe supplementation with Chromium picolinate. Adding a good quality Ceylon cinnamon into your coffee, yoghurts, and cereal can also assist. Only Ceylon though as others don’t have the same effect.
Increasing bitter herbs before eating can be of use. You can purchase herbal bitters in tincture form. Supporting the liver will also be important, so taking the bitter ms can assist as well as milk thistle

My husband suffers from kidney stones. He has been taking 3 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar with the mother in it now every day for the last year and so far he has not had any stones. Your kidneys can only handle about 15 g of protein at any one meal. So make sure you spread your protein in take throughout the day. It sounds like you are on the right road though with your herbs in the food you have chosen to eat. I will keep you in my prayers! ✨💖🤗🙏

Keep intermittent fasting. A warm glass of water first thing in morning with lemon is great to get the digestive system working. On days you aren’t fasting follow up warm water with a green shake. I use Green 85 from Chemical Free Body. Try Shilajit as an herb too, many benefits. I take it every day. When you fiend for sugar down some water or have protein instead. Once you introduce sugar again from non fruit products ease back in with local honey (if there is any there). Many blessings.

I am going to check out the herb U mentioned as well as the ones Solarah said are good. Currently I'm back to green tea as well as acv in my water every day, along with fresh harvested ginger & turmeric (from rt here on the farm, I harvested), raw fresh made greek yogurt, and of course raw fresh garlic. The crazy part is I was literally sugar & wheat free for like 6months before moving, the last couple days before I moved I had pizza, cannolis, & several sandwiches (on sourdough), then got here & started just overdosing on wheat & sugar🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️ in the form of pastel de guayaba con queso (a guava & cheese filled pastry🤤🤤) & that's where I fkd up🥴🥴😖😖
