Oh girl that sugar and wheat can be addicting can't it! I think my husband is addicted to sugar a little! His doctor put him on high blood pressure meds and cholesterol meds because he said that his doctor said that he was pre-diabetic! He's been taking these meds for about 2 years now! He goes for regular check ups and the last check up his doctor said he's doing good and that the meds can start to get cut back on his next check up! My husband said that his doctor wants to gradually decrease the meds and get him off the meds 👏👏
My husband needed to lose weight too and he has through changing his diet, cutting out eating bread and sweets! My husband ate 3 or 4 slices of bread a day and honey buns almost daily and I fussed at him and told him that I thought he was eating too much bread and sugar, this was before he went to the doctor for a major check up! This is when the pre-diabetes and high blood pressure was found! I told my husband "if you lost 20lbs that would probably eliminate the problem because extra weight is 9 tenths of the problem!" My husband's cholesterol med includes a water pill too for excess fluid! That might be why my husband lost weight!
Anyway I thought I would mention all of that because my husband likes wheat and sweet foods too! Eating sugar and wheat can cause our bodies to retain extra fluid and its like the first few pounds just drop off quickly, that's the fluid! My husband eats more protein and vegetables now! He's cut way back on stuff! Instead of a honey bun or sticky sweet pastries, he eats a fig newton instead! Instead of a loaf of bread now we get whole grain sandwich rolls like hamburger rolls and he eats only 1 roll a day, which is less bread! He's doing really well!
But yeah keep listening to your body, drink plenty of good water too get rid of toxins and pee out the toxins! Have you tried green tea 🍵? It's supposed to be a metabolism booster and it's really good for you too, that can help you get rid of the extra weight faster! But good luck you will get there 🤗
Definitely ☺️☺️ IF along with the other protocols I mentioned here & my last piece, is exactly how I dropped the initial 71lbs, and got my health optimum. I had been slackin tho & now I'm getting back on to actually paying attention, having no intention of falling off again.
Thank U Beautiful👑👑 imagine how much healthier this world would be if everyone listened when their body was talking. U Betcha, I won't go back, that realization of diabetes Woke Me Up💪🏽💪🏽🥰🥰👑👑💜💜☯️☯️🧿🧿
100% and if I was eating right & didn't have any diabetic symptoms, I would have looked at that aspect first & foremost. 6months ago when I got to FL I was 20lbs less, since July I've been fkn up and eating way too much garbage & it finally caught up with me. Thank U Queen👑👑 Love having U here with Me🥰🥰👑👑💜💜☯️☯️🧿🧿
take care of yourself please 🤗 (I am addicted to breads and baked goods, homemade of course 😋 this is an issue with me in the winter when I start baking 🤣)
Love you and you're beautiful! As you know my job requires me to put my own personal beliefs aside for the purposes of supporting my patients and their many choices. I also like paying my bills, but I just have to say hell yesssss to the nutrition, hydration and exercising! I do take responsibility for my junk food consumption which often includes my need to feed my inner child Happy Meals. I can't ever get behind diet pills and fortunately don't have to deal with them at all in the ICU. 🙌
Mos Def Mamas, like me caring for a morbidly obese person (the same width as the hospital bed they are stuck in permanently, at only 5' 2") and having to leave them muffins & chips on their bedside table, after my 12hr shift taking care of them because they are absolutely incapable of doing anything for themselves, as much as that went against my better judgement, it wasn't up to me. I could always give suggestions but ultimately if the client chooses to keep doing all the things that got them in that condition to start with, it's on them.
Yes definitely. My grandmother was a diabetic and morbidly obese. She was the best cook which caught up with her. I know she tried her hardest to change her habits and it's not easy. I truly have tons of tons of empathy for humans and also a very bad back 😬
So I know what you're saying, it bothers me too sometimes! 💗 💗

When I was a kid the only aguacate I knew anything about came str8 from Puerto Rico 😋😋 my biologicals had a lot of friends who owned bodegas in Bridgeport CT (where I was born & raised my 1st 12yrs), and they would get them shipped str8 from the island every couple weeks, they are pretty much identical to FLs but had waaaay more flavor. I too was seriously confused by the “avocados from Mexico” when I saw them hit the grocery stores- my 1st thpught was “they need to Stop taking fruit off the trees b4 it’s ready, just let the damn things grow already!!”🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️😂😂

Thank goodness for that. We need you healthy 🥰✨
💜💪 just be careful of weight scales. Muscle weighs more than fat so scales can be deceiving when you are doing physical labor for a living.💜

What??? No green chilies?
No Turmeric?
Wtf!!!
I keep my own handy.
A lot of my friends think black pepper is too spicy
So I keep my own hot sauce etc handy.
One friend accused me of trying to kill him with my Pico De Gallo.
I warned him.
Cures Everything!!!

BTW, what do you think of Caribbean avocados? Those huge Florida ones were all I knew growing up. Grandpa called them gator pears. Lol.
I was confused when I saw the dinky wrinkly ones when I moved to New Mexico.
My ex-wife is allergic to avocados, but she could eat the Florida ones with no problem.

That's like mangoes, I love fresh ripe mango. I hate the store bought ones.
Store bought don't even have any damn flavor any more
