My 1st Publicly Shared Poem:

Feeling by Reina D.K. "Blessed Warrior"

Time to look within again, been too long looking without;

without a vision, without a goal, without my soul.

You cannot expect to grow in life if just looking, just seeing based on sight.

To truly see the way forward you have to feel;

the here & now, the road ahead, the sights unseen,

without feelings where would we be??

Spent most of my earlier years trying, hoping not to feel

believing feelings, emotions to be a sign of weakness.

Miscommunicated, miseducated,

that numb, cold, & calculated projected strength and fortitude.

But can you afford to be robotic, uncaring, un-human??

Is it logical to be illogical if Human is all you are meant to be??

One thing I’ve learned is, to be Human, means to feel is part of the deal. We really can't pick and choose which attributes are real.
