This past week has been a blur of sorts but at the same time so many events have stuck with me crystal clear. Between packing & moving, myself simultaneously with my farm family it's been a whirlwind of energy and exhaustion stacked into a huge cyclone which finally culminated as of this Rising. It's currently 2:08pm & I'm quietly sitting in the bed of my motel room, still in my pjs as I write this. I went for a nice long much needed walk yesterday, after sitting for 2 days in transportation mode, and it felt fanfuckintastic!! One of my sons (including my daughter-in-law), and one of My Soul Family are the only ones in CT, who are even aware I'm back in CT. I've tried getting a hold of my oldest, but that's like pulling teeth. Maybe my other daughter-in-law will read this & we can actually catch up. It would be really great to actually see my kids (ALL of them) for whatever time I'm here. I could've hit up 2 of my brothers already but I just don't feel like it at this moment. After all the chaos of the past few months I'm really enjoying the downtime. I'm not really in hermit mode, but a short solitude is a really beneficial thing when U need to regroup.
I was researching Carnivore since around mid March, then started eliminating the major offenders from my dietary intake right about the beginning of April. I finally determined that my official start date was Sunday April 13th, as the prior week was when I stopped all sources of sugar intake (fruits, honey, brownies, dark chocolate, coconut water), as well as raw milk & yogurt. With that in mind, I am officially 48 days & counting. Wednesday while waiting for my train I decided to drink the last quart of coconut water I had due to being concerned about dehydration, not knowing how much water would be available throughout my travels- that was honestly a mistake. I have been inflammation & sinus issue Free for the last 5 weeks or so, and immediately after drinking coconut water my sinuses felt clogged. Not only that but my broken wisdom tooth, which was infected prior to going Carnivore & then healed killing the infection, is sore again for the first time in about a month. It wasn't a “cheat day”- I don't believe in those, and I didn't “fall off the wagon” but I can say it was a definite mistake that I don't want to repeat cuz it kinda left me feeling like shit. And of course “waking up” after a nite of basically “cat naps” & freezing all nite lead to the retarded decision to grab a hot cup of black coffee. That was a secondary mistake which compounded the first, and was quite possibly made symptomatically because of the first. Sugar/Carbs lead to brain fog (among a million other more horrific side effects) & also does impair your ability to sleep correctly. This right here is part of the reasoning behind the incessant bombardment of Sugar/Carbs (those 2 words are actually interchangeable because they are the same thing), it's literally part of the “agenda” to have U walking around like a fuckin zombie 24/7 so that U don't question anything & U follow along with what the powers that SHOULDN'T be, want!! It's amazing how quickly U will notice something which before was seemingly insignificant, once your system is used to running way more cleanly. A few improvements I've noticed this week were; my teeth are actually getting whiter/brighter- strictly from going Carnivore- I haven't changed any part of my oral hygiene practices, my hair is starting to feel a lot softer/silkier, I'm not getting sunburned anymore (this is greatly impacted by consumption of citrus fruits, one of the chemicals in citrus fruits actually makes your skin way more susceptible to burns), my feet are losing size which means they're losing inflammation (& that's without even getting back into my walking 24/7 routine yet), the skin on the back of my hands is softer & looks younger, & my “beard & mustache” are thinning out (when womens hormones are out of wack we tend to end up with facial hair, which is most often like baby hair thin but coats the entire beard & mustache region of the face & neck- not exactly appealing!!). While I was in the grocery store yesterday I noticed something else, which was an eye opener to say the least. I was in the aisle for “canned meats” looking for Wild Planet® Shredded Beef packets, and there was an overwhelming nauseating smell that seemed familiar but it wasn't registering “What” the odor was, probably because I've never experienced it that intensely before. By the time I was halfway down the aisle, my throat & chest felt tight & uncomfortable. I turned & looked at the other side of the aisle to notice, the aisle I was in was also the bread aisle. My body was literally having an (albeit mild) allergic reaction to breathing in “bread fumes” (mass produced, over processed, toxic chemicals & mold, wrapped in cheap plastic). That one experience, right there, was enough to ensure, I will Never eat bread again. I'm pretty sure that it's safe to say I'm quite comfortable with the idea of being a Carnivore for the rest of my life.
To make amends for putting my internals thru hell while traveling, I had some Wild Planet® Sardines (in water & sea salt), 6 hard boiled eggs, a chicken sausage, & brown butter bites for breakfast. Now I need to go for a walk, pick up some steak, butter, a few cans of sardines, Himalayan or Celtic salt, & water (tho bottled water is not great it is healthier than tap water that isn't filtered & full of chemicals), along with an air fryer & I'll be all set for the rest of the week. Until next time, Mad Love & Blessings for All Y’All🥰🥰👑👑💜💜☯️☯️🧿🧿👁️
Im so glad the carnivore diet is working for you. My little poodle has a lot of skin and allergy issues even though I make her food. (She was a stray dumped out here on the ranch a few years ago with tons of health issues). Anyway, I watched a video published by a holistic veterinarian, advised feeding sardines for allergies and skin issues. I have been doing so plus adding egg to her food, and also rubbing castor oil into her hot spots. Voila! She is a new baby!
Stay on your path, your are a true inspiration Reina! 💜✨🙏
Enjoy your time and I hope you get to see all your kids 🥰✨🤗
